Applications for Talison Lithium’s Trainee Program are now open!

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain invaluable experience in your chosen field, while obtaining a nationally recognised qualification!

You might be a school leaver, someone returning to work after some time away, or someone that is looking to embark on a new career.  Whoever you are, we’d love to hear from you.

Available Traineeships:

• Infrastructure and Water Circuit Services: Support the operation and maintenance of water flow across site, enjoy hands-on outdoor work, and obtain a Certificate III in Resource Processing.
• Water Treatment: Learn to operate and monitor the Water Treatment Plant and obtain a Certificate III in Resource Processing.
• Laboratory: Prepare and test ore, feed and water samples, support our Laboratory Technicians and obtain a Certificate III in Laboratory Skills.
• Maintenance Planning: Learn to plan, schedule and optimise plant maintenance activities and obtain a Certificate III in Business.
• Administration: Provide vital administrative support to our Production Department, gain experience in an office environment, and obtain a Certificate III in Business.
• Procurement: Gain experience in providing transactional, purchasing and administrative support and obtain a Certificate III in Business.
• Inventory and Cataloguing: Gain experience in managing product records and an understanding of the supply chain, and obtain a Certificate III in Business.
• Technical Writing: Create and maintain clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for the Maintenance Department, and obtain a Certificate III in Business.
• Warehouse Operations: Assist with the receiving, distribution and storage of supplies for the business, and obtain a Certificate III in Business.

About the Candidate:

• A strong work ethic with a commitment to safe and environmental work practices;
• Motivated to achieve personal goals and objectives, including study and course work;
• Ability to follow direction, while showing initiative; and
• Ability to hold (or work towards holding) a WA driver’s license.

Our Traineeship Program:

As part of our ongoing commitment to our local communities, Talison Lithium offers a variety of Traineeships at the Greenbushes Lithium Operation. Traineeships commence in January and run for 12 months, during which time you will be given training and support through every step of the program. You will gain experience within the function of your chosen field, as well as exposure to a range of different functions across the business.
