Electrical Tradesperson – Fixed Plant

About the Role:

Reporting to the Electrical Coordinator, an opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Electrical Tradesperson to join our energetic and multi-disciplined Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be working on a 7/7 roster, completing 12-hour day and night shifts, with five weeks annual leave.

Responsibilities include:

• statutory testing and inspections;
• scoping continuous improvement opportunities;
• raising observations and work orders;
• breakdown and fault finding on Fixed Plant;
• preventative maintenance on Fixed Plant; and
• modular and shutdown maintenance.

About the Candidate:

• Electrical/Instrumentation trade qualification;
• 3 years post trade experience;
• High Voltage Switching Operators Certificate with H/V experience;
• PLC, Citect and field instrument experience;
• understanding of mineralogy and process equipment;
• understanding of CMMS;
• experienced in Job Safety Analysis;
• working knowledge of electrical standards and codes; and
• manual C class driver’s license.
