 About the Role:

Reporting to the Senior Exploration Project Geologist the successful candidate will carry out a range of field and office functions to support successful geological outcomes. This is a residential role on an 8:6 roster working a nominal 38.1-hour week.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee contractor activities related to drill pad clearing, ensuring alignment with geological requirements
• Conduct core photography, cutting, and sampling of diamond drill core
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently as required
• Collect, label, and dispatch field samples accurately
• Maintain and support geology related infrastructure
• Manage and upkeep geological tools, equipment, and storage areas
• Perform accurate geological data entry and record-keeping
• Carry out field task observations and report findings
• Procure and maintain inventory of geological supplies and equipment

About the Candidate:

• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with effective time management and a self-motivated approach to completing tasks
• Basic computer literacy with Microsoft Office, and physically capable of meeting job requirements.
• Hold an unrestricted ‘C’ class driver’s licence.
• Forklift license is desired, but not compulsory.
• Able to maintain and manage geological tools, equipment, and stores efficiently.
