About the Role

Reporting to the Enterprise Systems Manager, the successful candidate will support and enhance Talison’s enterprise technology systems, ensuring solutions meet business needs and deliver operational value. Working closely with the Enterprise Systems team, wider IST function, and business stakeholders, this role will contribute to system support, continuous improvement initiatives, upgrades, testing, and the delivery of technology solutions across the business.

Key systems include SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud ERP, SuccessFactors, Document Management Solutions, Health, Safety & Environment systems, and other critical enterprise applications.

This is a full-time position working a 5:2 roster (37.5-hour week) and is based in Perth at our Corporate Office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing operational support for enterprise systems, including troubleshooting issues and managing support requests within agreed service levels
  • Assisting with system upgrades, enhancements, testing activities and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Supporting the gathering, analysis and documentation of business and system requirements
  • Developing and maintaining process documentation, training materials and knowledge base articles
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders, subject matter experts and technical teams to support solution delivery
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance, usability and business outcomes
  • Promoting privacy, information security and audit compliance across all activities
  • Providing after-hours support for critical releases when required

About the Candidate:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Commerce or a related discipline; or equivalent experience
  • An understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems or other enterprise applications is advantageous
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders and support requirements gathering, documentation and business process analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to understand and analyse business processes and support the delivery of system improvements
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proactive, collaborative and committed to continuous learning and improvement
