About the Role
Take the next step in your HR career with Talison Lithium, the world’s leading lithium minerals producer. This is an opportunity to apply your expertise in a major mining operation while enjoying the flexibility to be based in Perth or live in Western Australia’s beautiful South West.
Reporting to the People Operations Superintendent, you will be a key part of the extended HR leadership group and partner with leaders across the operation to deliver people strategies that support business performance. This influential role provides expert advice on employee relations, workforce planning, organisational change, leadership development and employee engagement, while promoting a safe, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.
Responsibilities include:
- Partner with senior leaders to deliver people strategies that support operational success
- Coach and develop leaders in performance management, employee engagement, conduct management and change leadership
- Support organisational design and change management initiatives
- Lead and/or support complex employee relations matters, investigations and workplace issue
- Collaborate on industrial relations initiatives and workforce planning activities
- Provide expert guidance on employment legislation, policies, awards and agreements
- Analyse workforce data and insights to identify opportunities for improvement
- Champion inclusion, wellbeing and psychological safety across the workforce
- Drive continuous improvement in HR processes, systems and employee experience initiatives
About the Candidate:
You are a proactive and relationship-focused HR professional who enjoys working in a dynamic operational environment. You bring sound judgement, commercial acumen, and the ability to drive organisational performance.
To be successful, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business or a related discipline
- Proven experience in a strategic and/or operational Human Resources Business Partner position
- Proven ability to influence, coach and build trusted relationships at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and contemporary HR practices
- Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations matters and workplace investigations
