About the Role:

Reporting to the Learning and Development Superintendent, the successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration and optimisation of the organisation's Learning Management System (LMS) platform. This role will support the development, delivery and tracking of training programs and ensure a seamless experience of all users. The Training Systems Specialist will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align the LMS with organisational goals, compliance requirements, and learner needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage the everyday operations of the LMS including user accounts, permissions and troubleshooting.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for an LMS-related issues, resolve the issues promptly and provide technical support.
• Configure the LMS settings to align with organisational requirements, training objectives, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Upload, test and deploy eLearning courses, assessments and learning paths.
• Ensure LMS data integrity, including taking regular audits and implementing system updates.
• Ensure content compatibility and functionality across various devices and platforms.
• Collaborate with vendors to implement system upgrades, patches and new features.

About the Candidate:

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116)
• 2-3 years of experience in administering Learning Management System platforms.
• Proficiency in Learning Management System platforms and related technologies.
• Familiarity with instructional design principles and eLearning development tools (desirable, but not essential).
• Experience with SCORM, xAPI,or AICC (desirable, but not essential).
•  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Current ‘C’ class Drivers Licence
