About the Role

Reporting to the Laboratory Shift Supervisor, you’ll join a proactive and supportive team responsible for sample preparation and analysis, including AAS and XRF testing. You’ll work to established laboratory procedures while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping.

This role operates on a 7/7 roster, offering excellent work–life balance. For those outside the residential radius, camp accommodation is available to support drive‑in drive‑out arrangements, making it easy to join the team and thrive with us.

Responsibilities include:

• carrying out shift analysis tasks with accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to quality standards;
• preparing samples for analysis each day, including registration, splitting, crushing, pulverising, and sizing in line with established procedures;
• performing AAS and XRF analyses safely, efficiently, and to required standards;
• ensuring full compliance with laboratory procedures, quality systems, and safety requirements;
• maintaining a clean, organised, and safe laboratory work environment; and
• assisting the Laboratory Management Team with additional duties as needed to support smooth laboratory operations.

About the Candidate:

• collaborative team player with strong communication skills, comfortable working within a shift‑based environment;
• able to work a 7 days on / 7 days off, 7 nights on / 7 nights off roster (12‑hour shifts);
• passionate about safety and proactive in maintaining a clean and safe workplace;
• experienced in laboratory or mining environments (highly regarded but not essential);
• certificate III in Laboratory Skills (highly regarded but not essential); and
• confident with numbers and computer applications, with strong attention to detail.
