Residential Full Time Position

About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, the successful candidate will supervise the maintenance team, in accordance with the statutory regulations to repair and maintain and commission all company owned equipment in the processing plants during planned shutdowns at Greenbushes Operations (Greenbushes, Site, Mine). This is a permanent, full-time position consisting of a 7:7 continuous shift roster.

Responsibilities include:

• interpret company policies to the team and enforce safety regulations;
• interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to the team and assigns duties;
• suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department or work crew;
• ensure that cost effective maintenance is achieved by deriving and implementing the most appropriate maintenance and replacement options;
• ensure work is carried out within budgeted parameters;
• identify skills required to meet shutdown requirements and ensure the availability of those skills;
• deployment of contract labour and services; and
•  on a needs basis relieve the Coordinator;

About the Candidate

• post trade experience in mineral processing industry;
• have proven problem solving, team development and facilitation skills;
• have experience with computerised maintenance management systems and planning;
•  have exposure to safety management and safety performance systems;
• have experience in budgeting and cost control systems;
• familiar with PC driven software; and
• good management and communication skills.
