About the Role:

Reporting to the Business Systems Superintendent, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering technology solutions that support Talison Lithium’s strategic objectives and operational needs. As part of the Information Systems and Technology (IST) team, you’ll be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing support of software and technology systems across the business.

Responsibilities include:

• partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritise business requirements;
• analyse business challenges and translate user needs into clear, actionable functional specifications;
• identify opportunities to enhance business processes through technology;
• manage and resolve support tickets within agreed service levels;
• facilitate discussions to resolve conflicting priorities and escalate issues when necessary;
• provide basic end-user training and support;
• develop and maintain training materials and knowledge base content; and
• lead stakeholders through user acceptance and regression testing and support other testing activities as needed.

About the Candidate:

The following qualification/s, skills and experience are considered desirable for this position: 

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Computer Science, IT, Business Information Systems or relevant fields such as Mining Operations, Maintenance Planning or Master Data;
• minimum 10 years’ experience in business analysis;
• experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, ideally Tier 1;
• proficiency in SAP S4/Hana Public Cloud is desirable;
• strong ability to understand and balance stakeholder needs, with a customer-focused mindset;
• skilled in prioritising and resolving support issues efficiently;
• confident in engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders to define and document requirements; and
• excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills.
