About the Role:
We are excited to announce that we are inviting applications for a position within our Information Systems and Technology (IST) team – a Senior Business Systems Analyst.
Working closely with the Business Information Systems Superintendent and IST team, the successful candidate will devise and provide technology solutions to meet business requirements, align to our strategic goals, and ultimately deliver value and support to the wider business. The responsibilities of the role include design, delivery, maintenance and support of technology and software systems across Talison Lithium.
This role is based at our Greenbushes site, with a full-time work week of 40 hours.
Responsibilities include:
- Engage with business partners and stakeholders to facilitate the capture and documentation of business requirements.
- Analyse business problems and translate conceptual user requirements into clear, detailed functional requirements.
- Identify areas where technology may improve business processes.
- Undertake problem solution, issue resolution, and escalation of support tickets within defined service level agreements.
- Help resolve competing priorities between stakeholder groups by facilitating discussions and escalating issues where appropriate.
- Support and perform basic end user training and navigation activities.
- Create and update training materials and knowledge-based articles for common issues and resolution.
- Lead business stakeholders in various testing activities including user acceptance and regression testing, and participate in other testing, as required.
About the Candidate:
The following qualification/s, skills and experience are considered desirable for this position:
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Mining Operations of Maintenance planning, Scheduling, Master Data, or Systems specialist.
- Ten years’ experience in business analysis.
- Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning systems, preferably Tier 1.
- Familiarity with SAP S4/Hana Public Cloud is advantageous, though not essential.
- Proven ability to determine the explicit and implicit needs and requirements of various stakeholders and apply operational and customer-centric approach to decision making
- Proven ability to triage and prioritise support issues as they arise, ensuring the most business critical issues are addressed promptly.
- Ability to engage business partners and stakeholders from non-technical and technical backgrounds to facilitate, document and prioritise requirements.
- Strong problem resolution, negotiation and influencing skills.
