About the Role

Reporting to the Enterprise Systems Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for optimising enterprise systems, guiding solution design, and driving measurable business value across a range of technologies. This role plays a critical part in supporting, improving, and shaping Talison’s enterprise technology landscape.

Working at our Greenbushes site, you will partner with Maintenance, Operations, Infrastructure, Supply Chain, and senior leaders to support SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and a range of other enterprise platforms. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with DIDO accommodation provided and flexible working arrangements, including occasional time at our Perth Corporate Office for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:

  • supporting and optimising Talison’s enterprise technology systems, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and other key enterprise platforms;
  • troubleshooting and resolving complex crossfunctional system issues, managing support tickets, and escalating within defined SLAs;
  • reviewing and assessing system and software requests to ensure alignment with architecture, security, and compliance standards;
  • creating, updating, and maintaining training materials, documentation, and knowledgebase articles;
  • developing and executing change requests, including test plans, rollout and rollback strategies, and maintaining associated registers;
  • leading and participating in system upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives;
  • analysing business processes and translating user needs into clear functional, technical, or solution design specifications;
  • guiding end users through testing activities including UAT, managing the defect lifecycle, and ensuring complete traceability;
  • coordinating planned outages and supporting cutover and hypercare activities to ensure smooth BAU transitions;
  • identifying automation opportunities and embedding process improvements across supported systems;
  • facilitating discussions between business groups, resolving competing priorities, and securing decisions and signoffs;
  • managing vendor relationships and performance where required; and
  • mentoring Business Systems Analysts and contributing to capability uplift across the Enterprise Systems team.

About the Candidate:

  • tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or equivalent experience;
  • extensive experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning systems, ideally SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (Tier 1) in a similar support or business systems role (mining industry experience highly regarded);
  • broad exposure across enterprise platforms, such as OpenText Document Management, SuccessFactors, HSE systems, and various SaaS or onpremise applications;
  • strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions, capture requirements, prioritise needs, and communicate clearly with both technical and nontechnical audiences;
  • vendor management and cross-functional leadership experience, ensuring outcomes are aligned, documented, and delivered as expected;
  • excellent analytical and facilitation skills, with the ability to simplify complex processes and translate them into clear, actionable documentation;
  • proactive problem-solving and negotiation capability, with confidence in influencing outcomes and driving agreement;
  • attention to detail, especially in requirements gathering, data validation, and reviewing deliverables; and
  • commitment to continuous learning and adaptability in a dynamic, fastpaced environment.
