Greenbushes Lithium Operation

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead the development, implementation, continuous improvement and execution of Talison Lithium inventory control and planning strategy, goals and objectives specifically for cataloguing, inventory planning and working capital optimisation.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • the disciplined collection, creation, formatting of inventory catalogue records and implement governance to preserve data quality on an ongoing basis;
  • conduct inventory analysis and forecasting ensuring risk based assessment is conducted to analyse and determine stocking levels;
  • Identifies opportunities to reduce total costs based on better planning and management of inventory;
  • drives the identification of slow moving, inactive, obsolete and excess stock management;
  • implements demand forecasting and analytical concepts designed to support operational service levels;
  • create inventory reports and analyze performance against assigned metrics; and
  • Provide mentorship, leadership and skill development of direct and indirect reports through ongoing performance measurement and feedback.

 

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Diploma in warehouse management or inventory management;
  • SAP experience desirable;
  • HR Driver’s license; and
  • High risk license: LF (forklift operation).

Skills:

  • minimum 5 years relevant experience in a similar role;
  • strong analytical skills; and
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
