About the Role

Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, you’ll be part of a dynamic team responsible for sample preparation and analysis, including AAS and XRF testing. You’ll follow established laboratory procedures while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

This position is offered on a 7 & 7 shift roster, providing a great work-life balance. For those outside the Drive-In Drive-Out range, camp accommodation is available, making it easier to be part of our team.

Responsibilities include:

• carry out shift analysis duties under supervision with accuracy and attention to detail;
• prepare samples for analysis daily, including registration, splitting, crushing, pulverising and sizing in accordance with procedures;
• perform AAS and XRF analysis accurately and efficiently;
• ensure full compliance with laboratory procedures and quality standards;
• maintain a clean, organized and safe work evnrionment; and
• support the Laboratory Management Team with additional tasks as required.

About the Candidate:

• a collaborative team player with strong communication skills in a shift-based environment;
• comfortable working a 7 days on / 7 days off, 7 nights on / 7 nights off roster (12-hour shifts);
• passionate about safety and proactive in maintaining a safe workplace;
• previous experience in a laboratory or mining environment is highly regarded;
• holds or is willing to commence a Cert III in Laboratory Skills;
• strong mathematical skills and computer literacy;
