About the Role

Reporting to the TSF & Water Circuits Coordinator, the successful candidate will work as part of a team, managing and maintaining the mining dewatering circuit assets, in addition to all infrastructure assets and systems, including Tailings and Water Dams.

Responsibilities include:

• operate, inspect and maintain pumping, dewatering and water management infrastructure, including tailings and water dams;
• HDPE pipe welding and installation;
• support tailings process operations, water balance management and site-wide inspections;
• carry out minor maintenance, HDPE pipe repairs/modifications and basic civil works;
• operate plant and equipment as required, including diesel pumps, water carts and site services refuelling; and 
• assist with night shift operations, contractor coordination and raise observations/work orders in SAP.

About the Candidate:

• practical mechanical and maintenance aptitude with a strong safety focus;
• basic computer skills and ability to use maintenance systems (e.g. SAP);
• experience in plant operation and mobile equipment (desirable);
• exposure to tailings processing, pumping and pipeline systems (desirable); and 
• previous mine site experience and willingness to work day and night shifts.
