Greenbushes Lithium Operation

Applications for Talison’s Trainee Program are now open!

As a part of its ongoing commitment to local communities Talison Lithium Pty Ltd (Talison) is once again offering a variety of Traineeships at the Greenbushes Lithium Operation (Greenbushes) designed to provide invaluable on the job experience whilst simultaneously giving successful candidates the opportunity to achieve a nationally recognised qualification in their chosen field.  This is a fantastic opportunity to get a taste of the mining industry with the world’s leading lithium minerals producer.

Talison’s Traineeships commence in January and run for a 12-month period, during which time you will be given training and support as well as a mentor to provide support and guidance through every step of the program.  You might be a school leaver, someone returning to work after some time away, or even someone looking to embark on a new career.  Whoever you are, we’d love to hear from you.

In 2025 we’ll be welcoming trainees in the following fields:

• Business Services (including Stores and Administration);
• Infrastructure & Mine Water Circuit Services;
• Laboratory;
• Maintenance planning;
• Procurement;
• Resource Processing;
• Stores; and
• Technical writing.

To be successfully considered for these roles, you will have:

• a willingness to contribute toward the success of your team while supporting a positive team culture;
• excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
• a strong work ethic with a commitment to health, safety and environmental work practices;
• motivation to achieve personal goals and objectives, including study and course work;
• the ability to follow direction, while showing initiative and searching for improvement opportunities; and
• either hold, or be working towards, a W.A. driver’s license.

3. If you are shortlisted, you will be contacted by phone and may be invited to interview at the Greenbushes Lithium Operation.
4. Offers will be made subject to references and a pre-employment medical check.

Important Dates

Wednesday 30 October 2024 – Applications close for 2025 Trainee Program.

Wednesday 18 December 2024 – In-person Trainee Program welcome and sign-up at Greenbushes Lithium Operation.

Monday 13 January 2025 - Traineeship will commence.
