About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the evolution of Talison’s digital HR landscape. Reporting to the Planning & Performance Lead, this role is the central point of contact for Talison’s HRIS, SAP SuccessFactors, and plays a key role in strengthening workforce data capability and audit readiness across the organisation.
You will lead the governance, optimisation and ongoing development of the SAP SuccessFactors suite, supporting enhancements and implementations that drive smarter decision-making and modern HR practices.
Responsibilities include:
- identify and implement enhancements to HR systems to streamline and improve operations efficiency, working closely with the Planning and Performance team;
- collaborate with the HRIS Administrator to maintain data and system integrity, troubleshoot issues, and support upgrades with the IST team to ensure consistent system performance;
- contribute to policy development and updates, ensuring compliance with privacy, governance and audit requirements;
- establish and maintain governance frameworks for HR data, system access, security and compliance;
- support system configuration, maintenance, optimisation and project activities including testing and stakeholder engagement in conjunction with the IST team;
- execute and document testing activities, prepare and execute test scripts, capture evidence and manage defect logging, retesting and closure;
- support change and adoption activities including develop and maintain SOPs, quick reference guides, FAQs and system documentation for legacy and new HCM processes;
- lead end‑to‑end HRIS implementations, including module rollouts and major upgrades including , SIT/UAT testing and go‑live preparation; and
- prepare system strategy and performance updates for executive and Board reporting.
About the Candidate:
- tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Information Systems or Business/Finance (or a relevant discipline).
- demonstrated experience in HR or HRIS roles within fast‑paced environments; resources industry experience desirable;
- extensive hands‑on experience administering SAP SuccessFactors, including Employee Central, Recruitment, Onboarding, Payroll, LMS and Reporting;
- proven capability in delivering end‑to‑end HRIS implementations;
- strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle, compliance requirements, and data governance principles; and
- advanced skills in Excel and data handling, including lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations and CSV management.
