About the Role

Reporting to the Planning and Shipping Superintendent, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the haulage, storage and delivery of finished product to storage facilities, shipping vessels, offsite processors and shareholder production facilities. This role ensures all shipping and logistics activities are carried out safely, efficiently, on schedule and to the required quality standards. The roster for this role is 8:6

Responsibilities include:

• Manage critical risk controls for all haulage and shiploading activities
• Provide supervision related to all haulage and shipping activities
• Coordinate the safe and efficient dispatch of bulk product to customers, storage facilities and shipping vessels
• Monitor inventory levels and manage haulage requests to manage site stock levels
• Collaborate with contractors, customers and internal stakeholders to coordinate haulage, storage, maintenance and delivery activities
• Oversee shipment loading, sampling and quality assurance processes to maintain product quality standards
• Manage incident reporting for haulage and shiploading related activities and participate in investigations as required
• Assist with vessel planning and bagging despatch activities as required
• Provide On Call support in line with roster

About the Candidate:

• Statutory supervisor qualification
• Experience in transport and logistics, supply chain, shipping or bulk materials handling
•  A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships
•  Proven ability to drive safety compliance and improvement
• Ability to review forecast and proactively plan stock movements to facilitate ship loading and maintenance activities
• Well-developed planning, organisational and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
